SUSAN R. JOHNSON

Susan R. Johnson (American, born in San Francisco, CA) is a true Renaissance Woman—a multidisciplinary artist and professor who seamlessly integrates installation, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, textiles, and found objects in her work. She holds an MFA from Columbia University and a BFA from Syracuse University. She is currently Professor of Art at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she has taught for over thirty years. Johnson has been awarded fellowships and artist residencies worldwide and has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her work is in numerous public and private collections.
